Restaurant day has come to traditionally mean salmon soup and sweets at the Finnish embassy- and each year a) they threaten us with bad weather and it turns out it's hot and sunny so the Finns can complain about getting burned while sipping their soup b)the queue is longer (which means the Finns get burned in it as well, see 1).
Besides the super popular soup there was a small flea market, accordion music and some bilingual poetry, good coffee courtesy of Fekete and Finnish pastries made on the spot by Budapest's very own Finnish bakery.
