A Budapest Classic. Szeráj.

Restaurants and food fads come and go, but Szeráj continues to be the staple of affordable but tasty Turkish food. It pretty much saved my life during my first year at uni, when I fatefully discovered it around the time when I was about to succumb to a canteen bolognese only diet (canteen bolongnese, mind you is NOT bolognese, but a vile concoction containing a lot of carrots and meat originating from yet unidentified life forms). Szeráj is open almost around the clock, puts all fast food restaurants to shame with the speed of service, has a totally lively atmosphere and a very mixed crowd of people and a dish for pretty much everyone.
